Making his first career postseason appearance, Zack Wheeler pitched 6 1/3 scoreless innings and struck out four against the Cardinals on Friday.
Wheeler showed some of his best velocity of the year.
He didn’t have a big strikeout day, but he allowed just two hits.
The game was still scoreless when he exited.
