Another slow start could have derailed the Eagles playoff chances Sunday against the New York Giants.
But they came alive in the second half with 31 straight points to beat Big Blue handily 34-10, also gaining the 7th and final playoff spot for the 1st time this season with two critical games left on the schedule.
Rodney McLeod got the party started with an interception that led to a Boston Scott 3-yard TD run and they never looked back at the Giants who have the worst quarterbacks in the NFL.
The scoring was highlighted by RT Lane Johnson’s 1st career reception he scored on a 5 yard pass play, amazing call and execution!
To make the playoffs the Birds will need to finish strong with a road game in Washington next Sunday, the Cowboys at home to finish off the regular season.
The playoff berth is in sight and doable.
