The Vikings released linebacker Eric Kendricks after eight seasons with the team.
Releasing Kendricks freed up $9.5 million in salary cap space, but the Vikings have a lot more work to do on that front. They remain roughly $15 million over the cap and need to get well under it to add free agents later this month.
One of the best for nearly a decade, Kendricks is now a free agent https://t.co/MavbjU5juy
