ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reports Washington “isn’t looking to make a quarterback switch” from Carson Wentz.
Washington has lost three straight games since a Week 1 win over Jacksonville.
Wentz has been at the center of the team’s losing streak, leading an offense that’s averaged nine points the past two games while taking 11 sacks.
Washington plans to stick with Wentz, who ranks 25th in QBR, with the hope he’ll play better as the offensive line gets healthy.
With HC Ron Rivera on the hot seat and Wentz owed no guaranteed money beyond this year, Washington may look to rookie Sam Howell if Wentz continues to struggle.
