WITHOUT HARDEN, HARRIS AVERAGING 19.7 PPG ON 66.7% SHOOTING!

By Jerry Traub

Tobias Harris finished with 24 points (8-of-11 FGs, 6-of-7 FTs), five rebounds, two assists, one steal, two blocks, and two 3-pointers in the Sixers 126-98 win over Portland.

Harris is one of the 76ers players who have benefitted the most from James Harden’s absence.

No better than the fourth offensive option on most nights last season, Harris is averaging 19.7 points on 66.7% shooting through three games. With it being reported that Harden could rejoin his teammates at practice as soon as Tuesday (in advance of Thursday’s game against Toronto), Harris’ production could take a hit in the near future.
