WILL EAGLES’ HOWIE BOY PULL THE TRIGGER ON A WR TRADE?

By Michael Donovan

The Eagles’ offensive has been underperforming because of the woeful performance of their wide receivers.

Quarterback Carson Wentz averaged just 4.1 yards per pass against the Cowboys last nightand the team averaged just 4.1 yards per play.

But tomorrow’s 4 p.m. trade deadline is approaching, the Birds have been linked to a few players, including wide receivers Torrey Smith (above) and Alshon Jeffery.

One answer to help in opening the offense could come in a trade, but the cost might be too high for general manager Howie Roseman.
