NFL free agency is a little more than a month away, and it looks like the Eagles are going to lose fan fave Brandon Graham.

He could help the Chicago Bears at two different spots. Whether it be at outside linebacker or defensive end (the more likely scenario), Graham would be a nice addition to the pass rush.

It is unclear what the Bears will do with Aaron Lynch, but he played well enough this past season to earn a little cash this offseason too. It wouldn’t be a bad idea to get another veteran pass rusher into the mix, as this Bears defense is as Super Bowl-ready of a defense you’ll see going into next season.

It may be tough for the Eagles to re-sign Graham, and it could be equally as difficult for the Bears to bring him in. He isn’t a pass rusher who will get you double-digit sacks in a given season, but he does enough to disrupt the quarterback and throw a game in a different direction. Now over the age of 30, it will be interesting to see what kind of market Graham has.

Last season, Graham finished with only four sacks, after a career-high 9.5 in 2017. It was also the first season in five years that he didn’t hit double-digit tackles for loss. The production has gone down a bit, but as part of a rotation, Graham would be a fantastic add for this defense.
