WHY DO PHILS INSIST ON STARTING TAIJUAN WALKER? HE’S AWFUL!

By Peter Marks

Taijuan Walker was chased by the Rangers after 4 2/3 innings.

He allowed three earned runs, walked four, and struck out five in a no-decision.

Walker labored through this start and left with the tying run at the plate before the Phillies broke it open.

This version of Walker doesn’t miss many bats and he’s earned every bit of his 5.06 ERA.
