WHEELER’S 6TH WIN GAVE PHILS THEIR 37TH, WATCH!

By Sam Bush

Zack Wheeler held the Rangers to two runs over seven innings and got his 6th win.

Wheeler scattered five hits with two walks, and he struck out five.

The blemishes were Adolis Garcia homer in the second and an infield single by Ezekiel Duran in the seventh.

Outside of that, it was another strong outing for the 33-year-old that sees him lower his ERA to 2.53 as he worked at least seven innings for the third time in four starts.

He’s scheduled to get the Giants on Tuesday.
