WHEELER IS PHILS ACE, BUT NOLA GETS OPENING DAY START

Aaron Nola is positioned to start for the Phillies on opening day, manager Joe Girardi says.

Zack Wheeler might have drawn the assignment had his spring training buildup not been delayed by a minor shoulder scare.

Nola finished with a disappointing 4.63 ERA in 180 2/3 innings last year, but the peripheral numbers indicate he was the victim of extreme bad luck.
