WINNERS, NOT SINNERS: EAGLES WON’T REPEAT MISTAKES VS SAINTS!

By Art Beitchman

The Eagles loss to the Dallas Cowboys 40-34 on Saturday night was not that surprising, especially since they committed 4 turnovers.

And it is balanced by the fact that, with 2 games left on the regular season schedule, they can win once to wrap up the Number 1 seed all through the playoffs.

But the most unforgivable play of the game was letting the Cowboys in 3rd and 30 pick up a 1st down with Cowboy newbie T. Y. Hilton beating the secondary for a 52- yard completion to keep the drive alive.

There’s no excuse for that bonehead play!

The Birds will get another chance to get the 1st seed in the playoffs next Sunday when they take on the New Orleans Saints at the Linc.

If Jalen Hurts can play he will win number 14, a franchise record.
