June 1 was an important date for the Eagles and Bradford when it comes to a potential divorce before the start of this season, writes the delusional Eliot-Schorr-Parks. Had the Eagles traded Bradford prior to June 1, he would have counted against the cap for $11 million, even though he wasn’t on the roster.

Now that it is post June 1, trading Bradford would have cap ramifications on the Eagles both this upcoming season and the following year.

If the Eagles were to trade Bradford at any point before the NFL Trade Deadline, Bradford would cost $5.5 million against the cap in 2016, and $5.5 million against the cap in 2017.
