Lined up in the backfield next to quarterback Teddy Bridgewater, Sproles got open in the middle of the field and caught a 2-yard touchdown pass in the final minute of the first half as Michael Irvin’s team steamrolled Jerry Rice’s squad 49-27 in the annual all-star game. In addition to the reception, Sproles had two carries for 12 yards.
