The Sixers’ Nerlens Noel only had 3 points and 5 rebounds in last night’s 122-96 blowout by the Phoenix Suns, but 30 seconds into the game he created the highlight of the night by rejecting Eric Bledsoe’s driving layup and knocking him to the ground.
A flagrant foul was called on the Sixers’ 6-11 rookie, but he probably didn’t mind because he effectively shut Bledsoe’s mouth which has been yapping that his and Noel’s former University of Kentucky mates could beat the Sixers.
