Craig Kimbrel struck out three in a scoreless ninth inning against the Rockies for his fourth save of the season.
Kimbrel was summoned to guard a three-run lead in the final frame at Coors Field and immediately gave up a leadoff single to Elias Díaz.
He struck out Ryan McMahon and Randal Grichuk before fanning pinch-hitter Mike Moustakas to end the contest.
The 34-year-old veteran closer figures to handle the closing duties for the next few weeks while José Alvarado (elbow) is on the shelf due to injury.
