Wednesday’s episode of “Outside the Lines” got slightly awkward thanks to the presence of Texas musician, politician and comic icon Kinky Friedman. While participating in a panel discussion about Jerry Jones and Chris Christie’s blossoming bromance, Friedman went straight for the gay jokes.
Bob Ley was having none of it! “You don’t really mean that, obviously,” he said sternly before moving right along. He was kind enough to let Kinky stick around long enough to unleash his dad-joke politics quip, which really ended the segment on a high note.
