Jay Wright’s Wildcats hope to be No. 1 in the conference Friday night.

They are playing the Big East tournament tomorrow at Madison Square Garden, and Villanova can go a long way toward cementing its grip on a No. 1 seed if it wins out.
All nine games are on FS1.
Providence won last year’s tournament by beating Doug McDermott and Creighton, and they enter this tournament having enjoyed a second straight season of at least 20 wins.
However, will this be the year for the Villanova Wildcats? It would be a great story for the Wildcats to win this tournament and enter the Big Dance with steam on the 30th anniversary of their last NCAA tournament championship.
