The USA is a massive 12 1/2 point fave against France tonight for the Olympic gold medal in basket.
And the Yanks are also a -900 fave on the money line.
Sure, you’re getting plenty of value to bet on France, but it would be a huge upset if the U.S. were to lose the gold medal at this point. The team is simply too stacked, and they have jelled as the tournament has progressed.
In the quarterfinal, Kevin Durant was 4-for-7 from beyond the arc and put up 27 total points in a win over a very good Spanish team. He would go on to lead the semifinal game vs Australia with a game-high 23 points. Look for Durant to continue his scoring ways in the gold-medal game.
