UH-OH! PHILLIES’ AARON NOLA BACK IN TOWN FOR AN MRI!

By Sarah Berkowitz

It’s time for the Phillies to worry about the condition of starter Aaron Nola’s back.

He returned to Philly from Chicago yesterday to get an MRI on his back, CSN Philly reports.

Despite showing notable improvements over the past few days, Nola is apparently still feeling something in his back and is headed for a precautionary MRI.

He still remains without a timetable for return, though it seems likely he’ll miss at least one more start. More should be known about his status once the MRI results are released, but in the meantime, Nick Pivetta should continue to start as long as Nola can’t go.
