TYRESE MAXEY’S SUPER 3 GAMES: 91 POINTS, 50% SHOOTING!

By Lew Gould

In 35 minutes, Sixer Tyrese Maxey scored 26 points (6-of-14 FGs, 10-of-10 FTs), with 10 rebounds, four assists, and four 3-pointers.

He’s scored 91 points in three games, shooting 28-of-56 (50%) from the field.

Pegged by many as a player who could break out this season, Maxey’s play is a big reason why the James Harden drama really hasn’t impacted the 76ers.

However, Maxey should be fine regardless of what happens with Harden. De’Anthony Melton stands to be impacted the most, as he’s been the replacement in the starting lineup. Melton finished Sunday’s win with 12 points, two rebounds, eight assists, two steals, and one 3-pointer in 31 minutes.
