The Trump Plaza Hotel and Casino was finally imploded today at 9 a.m.
It stands no more, though it will go down in history as one of the greatest examples of failure in gambling history.
It never made money, which is virtually impossible for a casino to do!
Opened in 1984 and closed in 2014, pieces of the plaza had been breaking off as the building once owned by former President Donald Trump remained out of commission.
The implosion had originally been slated to occur weeks earlier, with plans to hold a charity auction to decide who would press the demolition button canceled shortly beforehand.
