TREA TURNER HAMMY REHAB ‘PULLED BACK’ DUE TO SORENESS

By Peter Marks

Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters before Sunday’s game in Denver that Trea Turner (hamstring) is dealing with soreness and he’ll be “pulled back” on his rehab.

“How long, I don’t know,” Thomson said.

“I’m not really concerned at this point.”

Turner is working his way back from his left hamstring strain, and he ran at a higher intensity Saturday as he attempts to make a quicker return than anticipated.

A rehab assignment will assuredly be needed before he can return.
