TRADED EAGLE ERIC ROWE: GLAD TO BE WITH DYNASTY PATS, BELICHICK!

By Annie Ross

The Eagles traded cornerback Eric Rowe to the Pats, and yesterday he shared what he feels about it:

“It was our off day in Philly and I was watching film with the other DBs,” Rowe said at his locker after Pats’ practice. “They called me up and were like, ‘Hey we are trading you.’ I was like ‘Wow, it’s 11:00,’ I wasn’t ready for this, I just came in to watch some film.”

In his mind, Rowe played well enough to challenge for a starting spot or at the very least, playing time. Rowe is now just happy to be in a place in which he feels wanted.

“It was a shock to me. I am excited to get an opportunity,” Rowe said. “This is a dynasty team so I am excited for the opportunity to come and play and make the team better. I am excited that coach Belichick sees something in me. He is a Hall of Fame coach so that really motivates me.”
