The final leg of the Triple Crown takes place late this afternoon as 10 horses go head-to-head in the Belmont Stakes.

When and where is the Belmont Stakes?

The 151st edition of the so-called “Test of the Champion” takes place in its traditional home of Belmont Park in Elmont, New York.

As has been the case since 1926, the race will be contested over a distance of a mile-and-a-half.

Post time is scheduled for 6:48 p.m. ET.

TV channel

The Belmont Stakes will be broadcast live by NBC, which has held rights to the final leg of the Triple Crown since 2011 and will continue to broadcast the race exclusively until 2020.

The races will be available on NBC digital platforms and a live stream will also be available via fuboTV.

Tacitus enters the race as a 9/5 favorite, according to SportsLine. The three-year-old colt, a winner of the Tampa Bay Derby and of the Wood Memorial Stakes earlier this year, finished third in the Kentucky Derby last month.

Preakness Stakes winner War of Will is second favorite at 2/1, while Japanese three-year-old Master Fencer is third favorite at 8/1.
