TIME FOR EAGLES NELSON AGHOLOR TO EARN HIS $9.4M IN 2019!

By Lewis Gould

It’s put-up-or-shut-up time for Nelson Agholor.

The Eagles owe him nearly $9.4 million in 2019. They have been rumored to shopping the young wideout throughout the league, with no buyers as of yet.

Agholor has been inconsistent so far in his career since being drafted by the Eagles in the first round of the 2015 NFL Draft.

His production hasn’t lived up to his draft position as he heads into the last year of his contract.

When the new league year began, the Eagles were able to acquire DeSean Jackson from the Buccaneers. Of course, Jackson was beloved by Philly fans during his six-year tenure with the franchise.

After acquiring the deep-threat wide receiver via trade, the Eagles gave Jackson an extension through 2021. Consequently, this shows that the Eagles aren’t committed to Agholor moving forward.

Unless Agholor has a breakout season in 2019, we’ll likely see Agholor in a new uniform at the beginning of the 2020 season.
