NFL Network previously reported Zach Ertz turned down a contract offer that was “more lucrative” than $10.5 million per year.
But after seeing the George Kittle (5 years, $75 mill) and Travis Kelce (4 years, $14 mill per) terms, the Eagles would need to get closer to that $15 million mark.
Both sides now know where the numbers are based on today's deals. The dilemma is how to potentially pay Ertz and Goedert next year or year after.
Challenging situation, especially if Goedert has breakout season and Ertz puts up big numbers again. https://t.co/NWG1OJIZDA
