The Eagles made their mark quickly in the 2022 NFL draft, as Hall of Fame writer and Eagles historian Ray Didinger said on his radio show:

“The Eagles won the weekend by Secretariat lengths.”

Very high praise.

Moving up to No. 13, they drafted massive DT Jordan Davis from U of Georgia, this year’s National Champions.

Then trading No. 18 to the Titans for big WR AJ Brown. The Titans didn’t want to pay him, so the Eagles gave Brown $100 million deal, giving QB Jalen Hurts a big receiver to throw to.

With the 83rd pick they grabbed Georgia LB Nakobe Dean, filling a need they’ve had for years.

Now they get these new players in for OTA’s and start getting these rookies up to speed for the 2022 season which looks to be a huge upgrade on both sides of the football.
