Temple fans have an extra added reason to watch tonight’s Wisconsin-North Carolina Sweet 16 match-up in LA.
Wisconsin and Temple will begin a home-and-home series starting next season in Madison, Wisc., multiple sources told CBSSports.com.
The two programs will then continue the series in 2017-18, when the Badgers play the Owls in Philly.
Both schools are still alive in postseason play this season. Wisconsin is taking on North Carolina in the Sweet 16 on Thursday night in Los Angeles, while Temple beat Louisiana Tech last night to make the semis of the NIT next week in Manhattan.
Both squads are expected to be upper-echelon teams in their respective leagues next season.
