Well, new Temple coach Geoff Collins waited until kick-off of last Saturday’s Notre Dame game to anoint Logan Marchi as his starting QB.
It was worth the wait!
He completed 19-of-35 but he threw for 245 yards and a pair of touchdowns without any interceptions.
He is a true pocket passer that loves to get the ball to fellow classmate Isaiah Wright and senior Keith Kirkwood.
And he wasn’t affected by the 80,000 in South Bend or Touchdown Jesus. So today’s Villanova game at the Linc should be a walk in the Linc.
Villanova’s defense last week against Lehigh was pitiful. They got pushed around by a tough Lehigh passing attack.
Game starts at 3:30 p.m. and it’s streamed on ESPN3.
