LOCKING D-WIZ THYBULLE ON STEPH WAS SIXERS DOC’S MASTER MOVE!

By Art Beitchman

Sixers coach Doc Rivers made his best move right before they took on the hot Golden State Warriors Saturday night.

He took slumping Danny Green from the lineup and inserted defensive wiz Matisse Thybulle.

All Thybulle did was harass Steph Curry gunning for the all-time 3 ball shooting record into his bad shooting night, for the whole national game audience to see.

Curry scored a mere 18 points, 9 points under his season average of 27, forced into 2-13 shooting as the 76ers walked away with their best win of the year over the Warriors 102-93!

Thybulle got great off the ball help as Joel Embiid came up to the top of the key making sure Curry had no choice but to pass it off.

As Warriors coach Steve Kerr said after the game, “Thybulle did as good a job on Steph as anybody in a long time”

The 76ers need to use this signature win to jump start their season and get back at the top of the Eastern Conference standings.
