First CNN’s “Magic Wall” added some absentee ballots from Philly.
Then Allegheny and a couple of other counties.
That gave Wolf Blitzer and the CNN decision desk all they needed:
Joe Biden, born in Scranton, raised in Claymont, Del, and considered Pennsylvania’s third senator, had won the 2020 presidential election.
Moments later his supporters took to the streets for a spontaneous celebration that erupted across the jubilant city.
In a raucous, joy-filled showing, thousands converged on Independence Mall, marched down Market Street with drums, danced on trolley tracks in West Philadelphia, banged pots and pans in South Philly, and gathered in front of City Hall.
And don’t forget Philly sports will have two huge fans in the White House!
Joe Biden has said in the past that his wife Jill Biden is such a big Philadelphia Sports fan that she had a Phillies Jimmy Rollins bobblehead and Flyers Danny Briere Bobblehead in their bedroom at home! @6abc #JoeBiden https://t.co/RDD5CnOM0C pic.twitter.com/xB36qGi7KN
