The NFL hired former U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White to conduct the investigation of the allegations against Daniel Snyder and the Washington Commanders.
White previously conducted the NFL’s investigation in the allegations against Panthers owner Jerry Richardson.
The NFL had announced they will make the findings of her investigation public, following its conclusion.
Washington had previously sought to engage an outside group to conduct an investigation, but the NFL is now directly involved after input from the House Oversight Committee.
The Commanders will no longer pursue their own investigation and will be fully cooperating with the NFL’s investigation. The findings of this investigation could ultimately lead to sanctions against Daniel Snyder and the Commanders, although that decision will be left to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell.
