Ranger Suárez lasted just two innings and gave up four runs in the loss to the Cubs.
Suárez, making his second start since returning from an elbow strain, didn’t come back out after a long second inning that left him with a pitch count of 66.
His stuff was fine, but he walked up three and was undone by a couple of rather soft hits in the second. He’ll face the Diamondbacks next.
