SIXERS WON’T HAVE JOJO, HEAT WON’T HAVE LOWRY IN GM 1 — HAMMY!

By Jerry Wein

Heat guard Kyle Lowry will miss Game 1 of Miami’s Eastern Conference semifinals game on Monday with a hamstring strain, the team announced.

Lowry, a Phillynative and Villanova grad, suffered the injury in the third quarter of Miami’s Game 3 loss to Atlanta on April 22 and missed Games 4 and 5 of that opening-round series.

The Heat advanced past the Hawks in five games.

Lowry, a six-time NBA All- Star, is averaging 13.4 points and 7.5 assists per game this season.
