SIXERS WILL TREAD WATER UNTIL THEY DUMP SIMMONS FOR A STAR!

By Art Beitchman

The 76ers hung in there with the NBA champ Milwaukee Bucks last night before losing 118-109, playing with a depleted lineup with Joel Embiid and Tobias Harris still in NBA COVID-19 protocol.

But as the Ben Simmons circus saga moves into it’s third week, not having an All-Star caliber player sitting hurts the team, asking bench players to do what they can’t.

Having five rostered players out was a bridge too far for this scrappy group, but reality says the Sixers won’t be a winning team again until these players are returned to uniform, and the Sixers can find a deal to unload Simmons in a trade for a player who can help them win on the court.
