SIXERS WILL DRAFT AT 23 IF NETS DEFER TRADE PICK TIL ’23: IT’S LIKELY!

The trade that brought James Harden to the Sixers sent the Nets the Sixers’ 2022 first-round pick, which is set at 23rd overall.

However, the trade agreement stipulates that the Nets can defer the pick and instead accept the rights to the Sixers’ 2023 first-rounder.

The deadline for that option is June 1.
