Big boss Bryan Colangelo said today that the Sixers will exercise McConnell’s $1.6 million annual contract option. The undrafted point guard is now set to become an unrestricted free agent in the summer of 2019. McConnell had a standout performance (19 points, eight rebounds, five assists) in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference semifinals.
