According to Marc Stein of Substack, the expectation is that big man Bobby Portis will re-sign with the Bucks.
Portis can become a free agent this offseason if he bypasses a $4.6 million player option for 2022-2023, but even if he doesn’t take that, he’s still expected to sign a multi-year deal with Milwaukee if he opts for free agency.
There’s reportedly already interested teams coming to terms with the fact that they likely won’t have a shot at Portis, so it’s looking more and more likely he’ll be wearing a Bucks uniform for at least a couple more years.
