The Bulls would have some interest in the Sixers’ Matisse Thybulle if he were to become available this offseason, according to Heavy.com’s Sean Deveney.
Thybulle’s playoff experience was rough, as his not being vaccinated prohibited him from playing in road games during the first round (Toronto), and struggles from three dropped him out of the rotation.
Thybulle has a good reputation on the defensive end of the floor, but he needs to become a more dependable shooter.
Per Deveney, the Bulls, whose GM (Marc Eversley) has liked Thybulle since his time in college, would be interested in the young wing if he were to be made available this summer.
The Sixers Daryl Morey should jump at the chance to dump Thybulle, who can’t score and whose defense is vastly overrated.
