SIXERS ADD 6-10 TONY BRADLEY, BUH-BYE TO ZHAIRE SMITH!

By Jack Ryan

Sixers president Daryl Morey got a back-up center for Joel Embiid when he signed free agent Dwight Howard, and now he has a back-up to Howard:

The Pistons traded center Tony Bradley to the Sixers and received Zhaire Smith in return.

Bradley, a 6-10, 248-pounder, was the 28th overall pick in the 2017 draft out of North Carolina. He averaged 4.9 points, 4.6 rebounds and 11.4 minutes in 58 appearances with three starts last season. He has averaged 4.4 points and 4.2 rebounds in 70 career games over three seasons.

The 16th pick of the 2018 NBA draft, Smith has played 13 games in two seasons partially due to injury struggles. A fractured foot and a sesame allergic reaction that landed him in the hospital delayed his rookie debut to March of 2019, when he played six games with the playoff-contending Sixers.
