SIXERS REENERGIZED BENCH IS KEY TO A DEEP PLAYOFF RUN!

By Art Beitchman

The Sixers’ win on Monday night over the East-leading Miami Heat without James Harden and Joel Embiid was remarkable.

But the return of bench players missing in action was even better.

Georges Niang dropped 15, Shake Milton 20 and Furkan Korkmaz hit for 18.

The bench needs to have a semblance of firepower the rest of this season and the playoffs for a legitimate chance to win an NBA title.

They go out West for tonight’s game against the LA Lakers, and then the Clippers and Suns to wrap up this short trip.

It will be key to see if Doc Rivers continues with his bench rotation the team will need when playoff basketball begins.
