With the new NBA season underway, Sixers troubled All-Star guard Ben Simmons believed he could rejoin the club, get paid, and be a pain in the ass as a 5-year-old would.
Instead, he got suspended without pay — thinking he could get over on the Sixers and the fans — but amazingly he still hasn’t learned his lesson.
The Sixers were preparing yesterday for a game and put Simmons on the second unit.
They didn’t know his wacko plans, and they have moved on for now, inserting G Tyrese Maxey as PG for tonight’s Pelicans game
Simmons, not too happy with the move, acted out in practice the other day with Doc Rivers removing him from the court.
Where all this nonsense goes is anyone’s guess, but this ongoing distraction can’t go on without it spilling on to the players who want to play, win, grateful they have jobs in the National Basketball Association.
