If Sixers big boss Daryl Morey had his heart set on trading for the Wiz Bradley Beal:
According to the Washington Post, Beal is leaning toward signing a multi-year extension worth roughly $250 million.
“This injury also gave me a mental break, a time to evaluate life, and I haven’t changed my mindset,” Beal said.
“I enjoy being in D.C., I enjoy being on this team.”
Signing Beal to an extension will be the biggest priority of the off-season for Wizards’ general manager Tommy Shepard.
Beal is in the midst of rehabbing from wrist surgery, which he said “went well” adding that he had “no issues” during the procedure.
