FANS AT SIXERS MARCH 14: AVERAGE SECONDARY TICKET IS $914!

By Tom Brennan

The laws of supply and demand govern a free and open market economy.

Not to mention the unwritten law that says you don’t know how much you miss something until it’s been gone for a full pandemic year.

How else to explain the data from TicketIQ:

The average secondary market price for a ticket to the Sixers-Spurs March 14 game at the Wells is $914, with the cheapest ticket going for $591.

Inventory on the secondary market is “extremely limited,” according to the website, with just 20 tickets available for the Spurs game as of yesterday.

Pre-pandemic prices were in the $150 a pop range.
