Joel Embiid led the Sixers with 36 points (12-for-19 FGs, 10-for-10 FTs), 18 rebounds, three assists, four blocks, two triples and six turnovers in the 118-109 win over Cleveland.
The MVP race and the fantasy MVP race have been equally tight, with Embiid and Nikola Jokic leading the pack in both.
Embiid’s performance in this game allowed the 76ers to win their sixth straight game and narrow the gap between them and the Celtics for second place in the East.
Philly has a back-to-back with Charlotte and Indiana this weekend, and Embiid will look to put up more big numbers in both.
