Sixers center Joel Embiid gets a night off against the Blazers at the Wells.
He’s had right knee soreness after a knee-to-knee collision in the Sixers’ opener against the Pels.
In the first six games, Embiid has averaged 30 minutes, 21 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.8 assists.
Andre Drummond will start at center.
Embiid had an MRI on his sore right knee over the weekend which revealed no concerns, according to sources. Sitting this game is for rest, since Sixers have packed schedule. He’s expected back on Wednesday. https://t.co/Kve1flM3xW
