SIXERS HAD A GREAT DRAFT: ROTATION PROJECTOR JARED MCCAIN AND RIM-PROTECTOR ADEM BONA!

By Art Beitchman

Since the NBA draft started Wednesday night, the 76ers added some talented players:

Guard Jared McCain from Duke.

He had a 35 point game in the NCAA tournament last March versus Florida State, and he hit the 3-ball at a 41 % clip last season, and should help the Sixers as a rotation player next season.

With the 2nd-round pick they drafted center/forward Adem Bona, listed at 6-10/255 pounds.

And they could have found Joel Embiid’s back-up center who can guard the rim.

He had a lot of success as a UCLA Bruin blocking shots and hitting the glass, just what the Sixers lacked last season whenever Embiid went to the bench.

Both players will no doubt be on the Las Vegas Summer league roster that starts in early July, we shall see who could be productive players next season.
