SIXERS GOT HOSED, SO GETTING EVEN WITH KNICKS IS BEST REVENGE!

By Art Beitchman

On Monday night the 76ers got hosed terribly in game 2 versus the New York Knicks 104-101.

In the final seconds, as Kyle Lowry was attempting to throw an inbounds pass Tyrese Maxey was grabbed, mugged and thrown to the floor as the three referees stood there and watched with whistles swallowed.

For the oddest reason not one of these blind mice would put Maxey on the free throw line to possibly seal a hard fought game.

Also, they ignored Sixers coach Nick Nurse who motioned and yelled for a time out, robbed in front of the world to see.

The next day the NBA comes out with a 2-minute report to clear the air.

They admitted the fouls were not called, and the timeout request was denied.

That apology for ineptness in the final seconds of the game doesn’t cut it.

Now the Sixers need to win 4 games out of a possible 5 to move on to the 2nd round, clearly not fair but they are still alive to get this series going again Thursday night at the Wells Fargo Center.
