New Sixers coach Doc Rivers plans to run more pick-and-roll sets with All-Stars Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons.
Doc Rivers said the 76ers will run more pick-and-roll offense with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid.
This is a huge win for Philly and kind of scary for the rest of the league.

The Sixers haven’t gotten past the second round of the playoffs with Embiid and Simmons leading the way.
Simmons is reluctant to shoot the ball and teams pack the paint against him, which prevents Embiid from dominating in the post.
New Sixers president Daryl Morey and general manager Elton Brand acquired Seth Curry and Danny Green this offseason. Al Horford is finally gone, too, so there should be more floor spacing for the Sixers this season.
Most pundits around the NBA believe this is the last season Simmons and Embiid will play together if the Sixers can’t make a deep playoff run. Morey is one of the most aggressive execs in basketball and won’t be afraid to shake things up in Philly.
