The year-in-the-making on-court debut of Sixers’ 2013 draft pick Nerlens Noel (on right in above photo with coach Brett Brown) is upon us, and the team announced the roster for their Orlando Summer League team that will begin play on Saturday, July 5.
Taking place at the Orlando Magic’s practice facility at the Amway Center in Orlando, the team headlined by 2013 first-round draft pick center Noel will play games from July 5 to July 11.
In addition to Noel, who missed the entire 2013-14 season while recuperating from knee surgery, Jerami Grant, one of the Sixers five selections in the second round of last week’s NBA draft will join the Orlando Summer League squad after averaging 12 points and 6.8 rebounds per game at Syracuse in his sophomore season at Syracuse.
The Sixers’ first game will be July 5 against the Magic. Here is a look at the roster:
